I had JUST read an amazing quote from the professor & wanted to contact him about it. Obviously, It's too late and highly disappointed. The quote was about how neither seizing nor attacking political power, but moving away from it is the only way to freedom. That's exactly what I'm trying to organize, a movement designed to do that, but in steps the majority of the public will accept.
I think that such steps are necessary. If we wait until people tire of political rule, it will end violently. If we guide them, we can get there more quickly, & with no violence required. I don't suppose anyone reading this would be interested? 🙁

Butler’s ideas (and his energy that surrounded those ideas) on peace, voluntary interactions, knowledge, and the human psyche - has been imprinted on me, my wife, and kids. Perhaps our personalities are similar and so his writings resonated with me more than most, but it is undeniable that his logic and insight of human actions were profound.

I was introduced to libertarian ideas by Ron Paul in 2004. Within a year and after reading Rothbard I converted to anarcho-capitalism. After many years of binge reading on the subject of free markets, I ran across his book, Boundaries of Order: Private Property as a Social System. This book hit it out of the park for me! I’ve reread it three times, quoted it hundreds of times, and gifted this book to many friends. His personality and ideas have been passed on in a way that it is safe to say that he will always be with us. I am a spiritual person in that I believe he his still teaching and learning but at the next phase of life we don’t yet fully understand. I believe only those who grasp and accept the ideas of voluntaryism (the ideas don’t have to be bound by the word just the concepts) will move on to another level outside of this human body where we continue to learn and create. I hope my gut his right for many reasons, but one is so I can actually meet and converse with him in the afterlife.

Your teachings and inspiration have changed the lives of more people than you ever knew. I, for one, will always be grateful for the fact I was blessed with your guidance and inspiration. You changed me in so many ways and I love you for it.
